TBM CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / TUNNEL DIRECTOR @ EWI GROUP
A major tunnelling project based in Dubai is currently seeking a highly experienced TBM Construction Manager or Tunnel Director. This critical leadership position requires extensive EPB (Earth Pressure Balance) TBM delivery expertise. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional responsible for managing complex, large-scale tunnelling operations from inception through completion.
This role demands comprehensive knowledge of the full-cycle TBM execution process. Key duties will involve active, direct involvement in critical pre-project stages, including Factory Acceptances Tests (FAT), TBM inspections, technical checks, and formal machine approvals. Furthermore, the director/manager must oversee all aspects of site operations, effectively manage contractors, ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols, maintain high quality standards, and drive the project towards timely completion of crucial milestones. The project emphasizes risk mitigation, high-level coordination, and ensuring high-performance site delivery within the demanding environment of major infrastructure development in Dubai.

Key Requirements
Direct involvement in FAT and Factory Acceptances including TBM inspections, technical checks, and formal approvals.
Proven professional experience delivering projects in Dubai.
Strong EPB TBM background with leadership experience at PM or CM level.
Ability to oversee site operations, contractors, safety, quality, and project milestones.
Expert knowledge of full-cycle TBM execution processes.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex tunnelling operations.
Proficiency in risk assessment, management, and mitigation for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Excellent coordination skills for managing multiple site stakeholders and contractors.
