Evoke HR Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java Backend development to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The successful candidate will focus on designing and developing microservices-based applications using the Spring Boot framework. Responsibilities include building and maintaining RESTful APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, and ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while participating in system architecture and design discussions to improve overall system scalability.
In addition to development tasks, the Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in quality assurance by conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence. You will troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to ensure high performance and availability. This onsite role requires a professional with strong analytical skills who can work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment. While the focus is backend, exposure to frontend technologies and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly beneficial for integrating various system components.

Key Requirements
5 to 8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
Deep expertise in Java programming and core Java concepts.
Proven experience in building microservices using Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Proficiency with containerization tools specifically Docker.
Strong version control skills using Git.
Demonstrated ability in system architecture and backend design.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for debugging complex issues.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and performing code reviews.
