SENIOR ASSOCIATE: CREDIT FUND @ ELEV8 RECRUITMENT
This is a standout opportunity for an experienced investment professional to join a leading impact-focused Private Equity Infrastructure Investment firm. As a Senior Associate within the Credit Fund team, you will be instrumental in structuring and executing complex renewable energy transactions that generate real community impact. The role sits at the dynamic intersection of project finance, private equity, and impact investing, focusing on high-value transactions linked to REIPPPP projects including Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will be deeply involved in supporting sustainable community ownership structures through Community Investment Vehicles (CIVs).
In this role, you will be responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of refinancing and structured credit transactions. Daily tasks include building and maintaining advanced financial models, leading commercial and financial due diligence workstreams, and preparing investment papers for presentation to credit committees. You will engage extensively with key stakeholders such as IPPs, lenders, and industry bodies, supporting deal execution from the initial pitch to the final close. Key Requirements
Possession of an MBA, CA (SA), or CFA qualification is highly advantageous for this role.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Project Finance, Infrastructure Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
A strong and proven track record in executing complex transactions within private markets.
Solid technical understanding of renewable energy sectors, specifically Solar, Wind, and BESS technologies.
Advanced skills in financial modelling and quantitative analytical capabilities.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and deal-driven environment.
Experience in the origination and structuring of refinancing and structured credit transactions.
Capability to lead comprehensive commercial and financial due diligence workstreams independently.
Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed investment and credit papers to senior committees.
Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with IPPs, lenders, financial advisors, and industry bodies.
