GCP SECURITY ENGINEER (CREQ248722) @ EKLOUDSERVICES
Ekloudservices is looking for a skilled GCP Security Engineer who can design, secure, and automate modern cloud environments at scale. You will play a key role in building secure GCP architectures, implementing IAM strategies, and driving automation-first security practices across cloud environments. The role encompasses managing Org Policies, access controls, and network security through VPC Service Controls. This position is open for Pan India or remote arrangements, catering to professionals with 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in the field of cloud security.
Key responsibilities include handling data protection via KMS and Secret Manager, ensuring application and workload security, and leading security operations and incident response. Candidates should be adept at building automation using Terraform and scripting. Furthermore, the role involves managing identity and access management strategies and overseeing organizational policies to ensure a robust security posture. Successful candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement shielded VMs, OS Login, and binary authorization protocols across the Google Cloud Platform.

Key Requirements
6–9 Years of experience in cloud security engineering.
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IAM and Organizational Policies.
In-depth knowledge of VPC Security, Firewall rules, and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).
Hands-on experience with data protection tools including KMS, CMEK, and Secret Manager.
Understanding of infrastructure security such as Shielded VMs, OS Login, and Binary Authorization.
Direct experience utilizing Google Security Command Center (SCC) for threat monitoring.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and gcloud CLI.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures for large-scale environments.
Proven experience in leading security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with container security and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) security practices.
