SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER @ EDURUN GROUP
EduRun Group is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our client team in a hybrid capacity based in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading architecture-level discussions and breaking down complex solutions into manageable technical requirements. You will be instrumental in creating detailed integration diagrams, sequence flows, and comprehensive system architecture models to ensure robust and scalable system performance across multiple dependencies.Beyond technical design, this role requires a professional who can drive requirements, clarify use cases, and engage directly with customers to provide high-quality technical solutions. You will oversee system validation efforts, mentor junior engineers, and review design documents to maintain high engineering standards. We are looking for someone with a strong background in REST APIs, JSON/XML, and system thinking who is comfortable working in a tech stack that includes Java, Node.js, or Python, alongside AWS and SQL databases. The role also offers the opportunity to participate in RFP solutioning and use modern AI tools to enhance productivity.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar technical role.
Strong expertise in designing and working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML data formats.
Proven ability to independently create integration diagrams, sequence flows, and system architecture models.
Experience in documenting business requirements (BRD), functional requirements (FRD), and user stories.
Advanced system thinking skills with the ability to analyze data flows and multi-system behaviors.
Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles to clarify use cases and requirements.
Ability to lead integration testing strategies and oversee overall system validation efforts.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies, with a strong preference for Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Proficiency in SQL database fundamentals and experience with tools like Postman and Swagger.
