We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team for a significant Construction Supervision Project in Dubai. This role focuses on sewerage and storm water drainage networks within the Al Leem and Suhailah areas. The ideal candidate will possess extensive infrastructure and utilities experience, specifically within the Dubai market, and must demonstrate a proven track record of managing authority approvals and NOCs from major entities like the Dubai Municipality, RTA, and DEWA. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and validating BOQs, certifying Interim Payment Certificates, and evaluating variations and claims to ensure project financial health. The successful applicant will play a critical role in monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and executed quantities through rigorous site measurements. Compliance with FIDIC contract conditions is essential, as is the ability to support the Resident Engineer in all commercial and contractual matters. You will be expected to maintain meticulous records of all correspondences and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and local authorities. This position requires at least 10 years of UAE-based experience and a degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Candidates must be familiar with road cutting permits, traffic diversion approvals, and utility clearances.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in infrastructure projects within the UAE. Extensive experience in sewerage, storm water drainage, utilities, and road works. Mandatory prior experience working on Dubai Municipality or RTA projects. Strong background in construction supervision and engineering consultancy environments. In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and re-measurement contract types. Proven expertise in cost control, variations, and claims management processes. Experience in obtaining Dubai authority approvals and NOCs from DM, RTA, and DEWA. Ability to review and validate BOQs, measurements, and contractor valuations. Proficiency in preparing and certifying Interim Payment Certificates (IPC).
