Key Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of professional Outpatient (OP) oncology coding experience.
Must be comfortable and proficient with outpatient facility coding standards.
Extensive experience in diagnosis coding for office visits, radiology, and radiation.
Demonstrated expertise in coding for infusions and specialized oncology treatments.
Proven ability to handle complex CPT coding accurately.
Maintain a consistent coding accuracy rate of 95% or higher.
Possess at least one standard coding certification such as CCS, CPC, or COC.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology related to oncology.
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) and computer-assisted coding (CAC) software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing clinical documentation.
