SAP RAR CONSULTANT @ DIVERSE LYNX
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP RAR Consultant for a C2C opportunity based in Plano, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP FI–RAR modules, handling critical Revenue Accounting and Reporting tasks in compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards. You will play a vital role in integrating RAR with SD, FI, BRIM, and S/4HANA systems to ensure seamless financial operations across the enterprise. The role involves managing data migration, comprehensive testing, and revenue posting processes to maintain financial integrity. Candidates must be adept at preparing functional specifications, technical documentation, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The work location for this role is Plano, TX 75024.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 5–12 years of hands-on experience specifically with SAP RAR.
At least 15 years of overall professional experience in the IT industry.
Direct experience with Revenue Accounting Item (RAI) processing and management.
Deep understanding of Performance Obligations (POB) within SAP RAR.
Expertise in event-based revenue recognition and relevant configuration.
Proven track record of implementing and configuring SAP FI–RAR modules.
In-depth knowledge of Revenue Accounting & Reporting standards including IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
Prior experience integrating SAP RAR with SD, FI, and BRIM modules.
High proficiency working within SAP S/4HANA environments.
Experience in performing data migration, unit testing, and revenue posting.
Ability to prepare high-quality functional specifications and user documentation.
SAP FI or SAP RAR certification is highly desirable for this role.
