PAINTING INSPECTOR (1 POSITION) @ DELTA ENG
We are looking for a certified Painting Inspector to join our project team for a 45-day assignment in Labuan, Malaysia. The candidate must hold a BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 certification to be considered for this role. Responsibilities include monitoring surface preparation, supervising coating applications, and ensuring that all painting activities meet the specified quality standards and technical requirements of the project.
The inspector will perform various tests, including DFT measurements and holiday detection, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive inspection reports. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the broader project management team. The assignment is based in Labuan, and candidates should be prepared for the specific environmental and logistical requirements of the region during the 45-day contract period.

Key Requirements
Mandatory BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 certification.
Significant experience as a Painting or Coating Inspector in industrial projects.
In-depth understanding of international standards for surface preparation.
Proficiency in using coating inspection instruments and testing equipment.
Ability to generate detailed and accurate inspection documentation and reports.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality coating finishes.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with contractors and clients.
Willingness to commit to a 45-day short-term assignment in Labuan.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and chemical handling.
Physical ability to perform inspections in confined spaces or at heights.
