SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER @ DATAPATTERN
Datapattern is seeking a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Toronto under a hybrid work model. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using a variety of industry-standard tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CircleCI. You will play a pivotal role in leading DevOps initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a culture of excellence and best practices across the organization.
The successful candidate will manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes across multiple cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and OpenShift. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to support microservices architecture and optimize system performance with a specific focus on scaling, concurrency, and distributed systems. Working with complex message brokers like Kafka and databases such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB, you will contribute actively to an Agile environment to ensure fast and reliable delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD ecosystems
Strong programming background in Python, Groovy, or JavaScript
Experience with Spring Framework and Maven
Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
Proven leadership and mentoring experience
Hands-on experience in Agile development practices
Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and OpenShift
Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
