COUNTRY DIRECTOR @ COUNCIL ICC
We are seeking a Country Director to lead our mission and expand our impact within the country. This role is responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational health of the organization's local presence. You will manage a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from community development to policy advocacy, ensuring each initiative meets its objectives and serves the needs of the population.
Effective management of financial and human resources is a core component of this role. You will oversee recruitment, training, and performance management for all local staff while maintaining a transparent and efficient financial system. As the primary spokesperson for the organization in the country, you will engage with media and high-level stakeholders to raise awareness of our cause and influence public policy.

Key Requirements
Over 10 years of experience in senior management within the NGO sector.
Strong academic background with a relevant Master's degree.
Proven ability to lead complex operations in challenging environments.
Fluent in English and regional languages.
Expertise in policy analysis and advocacy strategies.
Significant experience in financial planning and multi-donor budgeting.
Ability to manage diverse teams and foster a collaborative environment.
Excellent public speaking and representation skills.
Strong background in organizational governance and board relations.
Proven track record of successful fundraising and grant management.
