COUNTRY DIRECTOR @ COUNCIL ICC
Council ICC is looking for a strategic Country Director to establish and maintain a strong presence in the region. This position involves high-level decision-making and the implementation of mission-critical projects that impact the local community. The Director will act as the primary point of contact for all regional operations, ensuring that the organization's mission is upheld with the highest degree of professionalism and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include talent acquisition for the local branch, donor relations, and long-term strategic planning. You will be expected to produce detailed monthly reports for the global headquarters and represent the organization at national forums. Candidates must demonstrate a deep commitment to social impact and have a proven ability to manage complex organizational budgets while maintaining transparency and accountability.

Key Requirements
Advanced degree in Management, Social Sciences, or related field.
At least 8 years of experience in an executive leadership position.
Proven track record in managing large-scale humanitarian or development projects.
Excellent proficiency in both English and local languages.
Strong networking skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
In-depth knowledge of local legal frameworks and labor laws.
Expertise in monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Ability to lead and motivate a multicultural team.
Strong crisis management skills and adaptability.
Willingness to travel frequently within the country and internationally.
