COUNTRY DIRECTOR @ COUNCIL ICC
The Country Director role is a senior-level position designed for an individual who can lead with purpose and drive measurable results. You will be responsible for the overall management of the country office, including program design, human resources, and logistics. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring that Council ICC remains a leading voice in the region's development sector.
You will work closely with international experts to adapt global strategies to the local context, ensuring that our work is relevant and effective. In addition to operational duties, you will serve as a mentor to local staff, building their capacity and preparing them for future leadership roles. Key Requirements
Professional certification in Project Management or equivalent experience.
Proven leadership in a complex, multi-sectoral environment.
Significant experience in donor relationship management.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Exceptional interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
Deep understanding of the local socio-political landscape.
Experience in managing security protocols and risk mitigation.
Commitment to gender equality and social inclusion in the workplace.
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
Advanced degree in a field related to International Development.
