As a Senior QA Engineer based in Toronto, Ontario, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and performance of software applications. This onsite position requires four days at the client's office, fostering a collaborative environment where you can directly impact the development lifecycle. You will lead test planning initiatives and execute comprehensive automation strategies using industry-standard tools to maintain high standards of quality across all project phases. Your responsibilities will extend to mentoring QA teams and facilitating smooth communication between onsite and offshore resources. By leveraging your deep expertise in Agile-Scrum and BDD/TDD methodologies, you will drive regression testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to meet client requirements. Key Requirements
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
Strong technical expertise in Automation tools including Selenium and Cucumber.
Proficiency in API testing using REST_Assured.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Maven for continuous integration.
In-depth knowledge of Agile-Scrum and BDD/TDD methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
Proven leadership ability to mentor and guide QA teams.
Experience in comprehensive test planning and strategy development.
Capability to conduct thorough regression testing and support UAT.
Strong coordination skills to manage onsite and offshore team synchronization.
