MAINFRAME SR DEVELOPER @ CLOUDROVER
We are hiring a Mainframe Sr Developer for a hybrid role based in New York. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of critical mainframe applications. You will work closely with business analysts and system architects to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure the stability of enterprise systems.
This role requires a deep understanding of legacy systems and the ability to integrate them with modern technology stacks. You will be involved in batch processing, database management, and troubleshooting complex system issues. As a senior developer, you will also contribute to the modernization strategy of our mainframe environment while maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.

Key Requirements
Extensive experience with COBOL programming.
Strong proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language).
Expertise in IBM Mainframe environments and Z/OS.
Experience with database management using DB2.
Knowledge of CICS (Customer Information Control System).
Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and debugging.
Experience in mainframe application modernization projects.
Strong understanding of batch processing and performance tuning.
Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office/remote environment.
