CCDS is excited to announce an opening for a Grade 2 Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a lead teacher, you will be responsible for the primary instruction of your classroom, focusing on building foundational skills while encouraging students to reason, create, and lead. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
Valid state teaching license or credential.
Previous experience as a lead teacher in a lower school setting.
Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Strong understanding of child development and learning styles.
Ability to collaborate with parents and fellow educators.
Commitment to the mission of an Episcopal learning community.
Proficiency in implementing literacy and numeracy programs.
Skill in fostering a joyful and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
