L3 DATA CENTER INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN @ CHASE NEXTGEN
Chase NextGen is seeking a highly skilled L3 Data Center Infrastructure Technician for an on-site position in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This critical role involves overseeing complex infrastructure operations, ensuring that all data center hardware and cabling meet industry standards and operational requirements. The successful candidate will work directly with physical layer components to maintain a high-performance environment for server and networking hardware.
The position requires a deep understanding of infrastructure standards including ANSI, EIA, and TIA, along with hands-on expertise in fiber optic testing using OTDR and VFL tools. This is a contract-based role with flexible hiring options including W2, 1099, and C2C. Candidates will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of data center assets in a fast-paced setting.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Data Center Infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge of ANSI, EIA, and TIA infrastructure standards.
In-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) for data center environments.
Proficiency in using Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) for fiber testing.
Expertise in using Visual Fault Locator (VFL) tools for cable troubleshooting.
A valid BICSI certification is highly preferred for this Level 3 role.
Demonstrated experience with large-scale rack-and-stack and hardware installation.
Strong skills in managing and documenting complex fiber and copper cabling systems.
Ability to work on-site in Jeffersonville, IN, following standard safety and technical protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills related to physical layer connectivity and infrastructure.
Familiarity with data center environmental monitoring and power distribution units.
Ability to interpret technical blueprints and schematic diagrams for site planning.
