ANTHROPOMETRY ASSISTANT @ CERD PAKISTAN
CERD Pakistan is seeking a dedicated Anthropometry Assistant for its BNP program based in District Shangla. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting precise nutritional assessments and anthropometric measurements within the community. This role is crucial for monitoring the nutritional status of the target population and ensuring that program interventions are data-driven and effective. The candidate will work closely with the field team to maintain high standards of data integrity and program reporting. Applicants are expected to possess a strong academic foundation, preferably with a Master's degree in Nutrition, Sociology, or a related social science field. With a minimum of two years of relevant experience, particularly in the NGO sector, the Anthropometry Assistant will contribute to the overall success of the nutrition program by providing accurate assessments and professional insights. Candidates must be familiar with the local context of Shangla and be prepared to meet the rigorous demands of field-based nutrition monitoring.
Key Requirements
Master’s degree in nutrition, Sociology, Social work, or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in nutrition programs (BNP).
Strong academic background in a relevant field of study.
Previous experience working with NGOs or INGOs is highly encouraged.
Ability to provide at least two professional references.
Proficiency in conducting precise anthropometric measurements.
Capability to work effectively in the District Shangla region.
Strong analytical skills for health and nutrition data.
Excellent communication and community engagement skills.
Understanding of local health protocols and nutritional standards.
