CATEGORY MANAGER (PRIVATE LABEL) @ CENTRAL RETAIL
We are looking for a visionary Category Manager for our Private Label division to help differentiate our offerings in the competitive retail market. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of private label products, from initial concept and sourcing to branding and launch. You will play a crucial role in building brand equity and increasing the profitability of our own-brand portfolio.
Working closely with quality assurance and supply chain teams, you will ensure that all private label products meet high standards and provide excellent value to our customers. You will analyze market gaps and competitor offerings to find opportunities where Central Retail can excel with its own brands. Key Requirements
Degree in Business, Marketing, or Product Development.
Extensive experience in private label development or brand management.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and product sourcing.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique product concepts.
Experience in brand positioning and marketing private label goods.
Solid understanding of retail operations and supply chain logistics.
Excellent analytical skills to assess market opportunities and financial performance.
Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, and Marketing teams.
Strong project management skills to handle product development timelines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas to senior leadership.
