This role involves supporting critical 24/7 space defense operations as a Satellite Operations Systems Administrator at the Mid-Senior level. The mission demands continuous vigilance, ensuring seamless satellite operations are maintained around the clock. The successful candidate will be joining Team Thunder, contributing to the delivery of advanced capabilities across the space frontier. This position is based in Colorado Springs.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and administering complex systems essential for satellite communication and control. Candidates must possess significant expertise in both Linux and VMware environments to manage system integrity and performance. This is a vital role requiring high levels of security clearance and proven experience in both IT systems administration and direct satellite operations.

Key Requirements
TS/SCI clearance required
5+ years of experience in systems administration or satellite operations
Minimum 6 months of direct satellite operations and communications experience
Expertise in Linux operating systems
Expertise in VMware virtualization technologies
Ability to support 24/7 operational requirements
Strong knowledge of space defense operations protocols
Experience troubleshooting complex satellite systems issues
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to relocate or reside in Colorado Springs
