A healthcare facility in Newark, New Jersey, is currently looking for a dedicated CVOR Tech to join their medical team for the Day Shift. This position offers flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle, including the choice between four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm or three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Key Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
National certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CVOR Technician.
Proficiency in scrubbing for various cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and sterile field maintenance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a surgical unit.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist with patient positioning.
Willingness to adhere to Joint Commission standards and facility protocols.
