SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER – FIRMWARE/EMBEDDED @ BLUEFISH TECHNOLOGIES
Bluefish Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in Firmware and Embedded systems for our on-site location in Bangalore. This role focuses on the development of complex embedded systems, requiring a deep understanding of low-level programming and hardware interaction. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, debugging, and optimizing firmware to ensure product reliability and performance.
The position involves working closely with hardware teams to read schematics, utilize lab tools like oscilloscopes, and implement communication protocols such as I2C and SPI. Experience with RTOS and industry-specific standards like ISO 13485 is highly valued. You will play a key role in the full product lifecycle, contributing to innovation and technical excellence within our engineering department.

Key Requirements
5–8 years in embedded systems development
Strong C/C++ programming skills
Experience with RTOS & communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, TCP/IP)
Ability to read schematics & debug hardware
Familiarity with lab tools (oscilloscope, debuggers)
Knowledge of PCB design for embedded systems
Experience in fire alarm systems or cybersecurity applications
Exposure to ISO 13485 / design control standards
Proficiency in debugging low-level software on microcontrollers
Strong understanding of hardware-software integration processes
