This pivotal role seeks an experienced Product Manager specializing in the Oil & Gas sector, specifically focusing on specialty gases. The incumbent will take full ownership of the specialty gas product line's P&L, driving improvements in volume, revenue, margin, and mix. A critical component of this role involves conducting rigorous market assessments—analyzing market size, identifying growth drivers, tracking competitors, and establishing pricing benchmarks—to strategically identify and prioritize business opportunities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market plan. This includes defining target segments, crafting compelling value propositions, designing product bundles (gases, equipment, services), and establishing an effective channel strategy utilizing direct sales, distributors, and resellers. Furthermore, the role involves managing a personal sales territory, focusing on a portfolio of key accounts in the Eastern Region, such as refineries, petrochemical plants, laboratories, EPC firms, and advanced manufacturers, with stringent volume and revenue targets.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10–15 years of experience in industrial gases, specialty gases, or closely related process or chemical industries.
Exposure to high-purity or analytical gas applications.
Proven ability to own and manage product line P&L (Profit & Loss).
Strong market assessment and competitive analysis skills.
Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans and channel strategies.
Demonstrated success managing key accounts and achieving defined volume/revenue targets.
Deep understanding of the Oil & Gas industry and related manufacturing sectors (refineries, petrochemical plants).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Must be legally able to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
