SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (CONTRACTUAL) @ BECHTEL
Bechtel is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (Contractual) to join our engineering team in India. The role involves preparing and assisting in the preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, and proposals. The successful candidate will perform finite element modeling and structural analysis of various steel and concrete structures. You will lead a team of designers in EPC and large-scale FEED projects, requiring a deep understanding of interdisciplinary roles including Plant Layout, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Geotech, and Construction. Experience in the design of Flat slabs, Cheese slabs, and the dynamic analysis of structures is a significant advantage. Possible work locations for this role include Vadodara, Chennai, and Gurugram.

Key Requirements
Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience in leading a team of designers in EPC and/or big FEED projects.
Proficiency in finite element modeling and structural analysis for steel and concrete.
Comprehensive understanding of the roles played by Plant Layout and Piping disciplines.
Knowledge of Electrical, Architectural, and Geotechnical engineering requirements.
Ability to prepare conceptual studies, designs, reports, and project proposals.
Expertise in developing design criteria, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
Experience in the design of Flat slabs and Cheese slabs is highly preferred.
Capability to perform dynamic analysis of complex structures.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with construction and multi-disciplinary teams.
