The role seeks an experienced Senior Construction Project Executive to strategically oversee large-scale commercial construction projects and lead high-performing management teams. This senior leadership position, requiring onsite work in Atlanta, GA, and regional travel, is ideal for seasoned construction management professionals with a proven track record of delivering complex ground-up projects on time and within budget. The Senior Project Executive will provide strategic leadership across multiple projects, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, high client satisfaction, and robust risk management throughout the entire project lifecycle for projects typically ranging from $25M to $150M+.
Key responsibilities include managing Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams; handling all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls; ensuring strict adherence to timelines and contract compliance; and cultivating essential relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors. The executive must also actively drive stringent safety standards and quality assurance programs, proactively identify and mitigate project risks, and contribute to business development and strategic growth initiatives. Key Requirements
10+ years of experience in commercial construction management
Proven success delivering large-scale ground-up projects
Strong financial management and contract negotiation expertise
Exceptional leadership and team development skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Ability to oversee multiple commercial construction projects ($25M–$150M+)
Expertise in managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
Experience leading Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams
Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
Proficiency in ensuring schedule adherence and contract compliance
Advanced knowledge of project scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project) is preferred
OSHA certification is preferred
