PRODUCT SPECIALIST @ BEACH & SAFARI HOLIDAYS
Beach & Safari Holidays is looking for a Product Specialist to join our team in Tanzania. We are a fully integrated travel company offering Zanzibar beach holidays, mainland safaris, and seamless combination trips across Tanzania, all operated in-house, from our resorts and boutique hotels to our lodges, camps, aviation, and safari vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who wants to become a true expert in our product portfolio and play a key role in shaping high-performing offers and campaigns. You will be responsible for developing attractive travel specials, with a strong focus on promoting our lodges and resorts, including upcoming openings. Your daily tasks will involve working closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support the launch and positioning of new lodges. You will also analyze performance data to optimize our offers continuously. Possible work locations include Johannesburg, Zanzibar, and Breda.
Key Requirements
Extensive experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel product management.
Strong commercial mindset and understanding of consumer booking behaviors.
Ability to package and position travel products effectively to drive volume.
Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to deal management.
Specialized knowledge of Tanzania and safari travel destinations.
Willingness to travel internationally for trade shows and events.
Fluent in English; additional languages such as German or Dutch are a plus.
Competency in launching and positioning new hotel and lodge properties.
Experience analyzing sales performance and optimizing product campaigns.
Collaborative personality to work with internal marketing and sales departments.
