EHS OFFICER @ AY CONSULTANCY
AY Consultancy is actively seeking a qualified EHS Officer to oversee and implement environmental, health, and safety protocols within telecommunications engineering projects. The role focuses on ensuring that all site installation and maintenance activities are carried out under strict compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure environmental protection. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a safe working environment for all technical teams and subcontractors involved in field operations.
Key responsibilities include conducting frequent site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards, especially regarding electrical safety and working at heights. The EHS Officer will be tasked with performing risk assessments, investigating workplace incidents, and preparing detailed safety reports. Additionally, the role involves delivering safety inductions and toolbox talks to workers to foster a strong safety culture and ensure that all team members are aware of standard operating procedures and emergency protocols.

Key Requirements
Possession of a Degree or Diploma in EHS or a related field.
A minimum of 1-2 years of professional EHS experience, ideally in telecommunications or engineering.
In-depth knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA is highly preferred.
Proven ability to conduct comprehensive site inspections and safety audits.
Strong skills in performing and documenting detailed risk assessments.
Expertise in monitoring safe work practices for high-risk activities like working at height and electrical work.
Experience in leading incident investigations and generating corrective action reports.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering safety training and inductions.
Ability to manage and monitor environmental compliance across multiple project sites.
