SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WITH AWS @ AVANCE SERVICES
Avance Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive AWS expertise for a contract role based in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will work onsite and should be a local applicant. This position focuses on developing robust applications using Java Springboot and Microservices while ensuring seamless application orchestration and ETL processes within a high-performance environment.
The role requires deep technical knowledge across the AWS ecosystem, including compute, storage, database, and networking services. You will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation and automating deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines. Security compliance and troubleshooting are critical components of the daily operations. Candidates with AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer are highly preferred. The contract offers possibilities for C2C or C2H arrangements.

Key Requirements
Hands-on experience developing applications with Java Springboot and Microservices.
Functional knowledge of application orchestration tools and techniques.
Knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes.
AWS Expertise in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
Proficiency in AWS monitoring using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
Experience with Route 53, ALB, and NLB for load balancing and networking.
Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with container technologies like Docker, ECS, and EKS.
Deep understanding of VPC design, subnets, security groups, and NACLs.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
