Asian Paints Nepal is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Manager - QEHS to be based at our facility in Hetauda, Makawanpur. The primary focus of this role is to manage and oversee the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) management systems, ensuring that all manufacturing processes adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic safety initiatives and maintaining rigorous quality assurance protocols to support the company's operational goals.

In this role, you will be expected to conduct regular risk assessments, internal audits, and lead training sessions for staff to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and ensure that all activities are in line with local regulations and international ISO standards. Key Requirements

Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in QEHS management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards and certification processes. Demonstrated experience in conducting internal audits and coordinating with external regulatory bodies. Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and safety metrics. Excellent leadership and team management skills to drive safety culture across the organization. Proficiency in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. Strong communication skills for reporting to senior management and training frontline employees. Working knowledge of local environmental and labor laws in Nepal.
