Ascent Global Group is actively seeking an accomplished Microsoft Presales Consultant specialized in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (Modern Work) solutions. This critical role involves supporting partners across the expansive African continent. The core responsibility of the consultant will be to serve as the technical and business interface, engaging directly with partners and customers to meticulously analyze their current business needs and translate them into robust, efficient technical requirements. This includes developing comprehensive solution designs that encompass cloud architecture, defining operational processes, and calculating the economic feasibility of proposed solutions.
Candidates must possess deep technical proficiency in key Azure services, including Azure Site Recovery, Azure Networking, and methodologies such as Lift & Shift. A strong background in complex migration projects, specifically Office 365 migrations, Exchange Online, M365 Security implementation, and Azure SQL/Managed Instance database migrations, is essential. The consultant will also be expected to lead technical initiatives such as conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), delivering technical workshops, and running enablement sessions. Furthermore, adherence to best practices, including understanding and applying the Azure Landing Zone and Cloud Adoption Framework, is required. The primary location is based in Kenya, but this role necessitates extensive and frequent travel across Africa to effectively support regional partners and initiatives.
Key Requirements
Experienced Microsoft Presales Consultant specializing in Azure and Microsoft 365 (Modern Work) solutions.
