QA/QC MECHANICAL ENGINEER @ ARBE TE CAREERS
We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on a high-impact oil and gas project, specifically within a SABIC/BH-compliant refinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards for all mechanical installations, alignment, and grouting processes. Salary for this position is SAR 12,000 – 18,000 per month.
Key duties include implementing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), coordinating non-destructive testing (NDT) for piping and welding, and overseeing welding traceability. Candidates must have extensive experience with ASME/API codes and refinery operations. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 7+ years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry.
At least 5+ years of specific experience working in refineries.
Proficiency in ASME and API codes, including API 610 and API 682.
Brownfield QC experience, preferably with SABIC or Aramco projects.
Valid Welding Inspector certification such as CSWIP or AWS.
Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia with a Transferable Iqama.
Demonstrated ability to implement and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
Hands-on experience with laser alignment and grouting inspections.
Solid understanding of welding traceability and joint identification systems.
