INVENTORY CONTROLLER @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS is seeking a qualified Inventory Controller to manage warehouse management systems and oversee inventory levels within the manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on building and construction materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for SKU management, stock movements, and performing regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy. This role requires maintaining up-to-date data in ERP systems such as SAP and analyzing inventory KPIs to drive cost reduction and performance improvements. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Inventory Controller will be expected to prevent stock variances, including stock-outs, overstocking, and obsolescence through proactive and strategic planning. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in supply chain environments who can work effectively to optimize inventory records and warehouse operations. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree and significant experience in similar roles within the manufacturing or consumer goods industries to meet the company's high standards.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (mandatory).
Supply Chain certification is an added advantage.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP-based supply chain environments.
Expertise in using SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory management.
At least 3 years' experience specifically as an Inventory Controller or related role.
Prior experience in the Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry.
Strong proficiency in monitor and control of inventory levels.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed stock movements and reconciliations.
Ability to analyze inventory KPIs and drive performance improvement initiatives.
Proven track record of preventing stock-outs and managing overstocking issues.
