BOILERMAKER @ APEX WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS
Apex Workforce Solutions is recruiting an experienced Boilermaker for a mining client located in the Kagera region. This role is essential for the fabrication, installation, and repair of various metal structures and equipment components within the mine site. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel and alloys, to build and maintain heavy-duty tanks, chutes, and structural supports that are vital to the mine's processing plants and underground facilities.
As a Boilermaker, you will be expected to perform high-quality welding and fabrication tasks while adhering to strict engineering specifications and safety standards. The role involves working both in workshop settings and on-site at various mine locations. You will join a team of skilled tradespeople dedicated to ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of the mine's physical assets through preventative maintenance and expert craftsmanship.

Key Requirements
Recognized Trade Certificate or Apprenticeship as a Boilermaker.
Proven experience in heavy industrial fabrication, preferably in mining.
Advanced proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience in the repair of chutes, bins, and heavy-duty tanks.
Strong manual dexterity and physical strength for heavy metalwork.
Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing PPE.
Ability to operate workshop machinery such as guillotines and rollers.
Experience working in confined spaces or at heights if required.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
