APAR Cable Solutions is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Manager, Sales – Cables. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our railway-focused cable and harness business. The successful candidate will focus on rolling stock applications and be responsible for managing relationships with railway contractors, OEMs, and direct railway clients to ensure consistent order targets are met. Possible work locations for this role include Mumbai and Delhi.

The candidate will engage in end-to-end sales processes, including market research, competitor analysis, and strategic account management. Responsibilities extend to proposal preparation, high-level negotiations, and diligent payment follow-ups to maintain healthy financial cycles. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background in electrical engineering who can effectively communicate the value of our specialized cable solutions to key stakeholders in the railway industry.

Key Requirements

Preferable - BE in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Cable & Harness for Railway/Rolling Stock. Proven experience working with railway contractors, OEMs, and direct railway clients. Demonstrated ability in sales strategy development and achieving order targets. Expertise in key account management and new customer acquisition within the transport sector. Strong skills in negotiation and professional proposal preparation. Proficiency in market research and detailed competitor analysis. Ability to manage payment follow-ups and ensure financial compliance. Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical products. Deep understanding of the railway industry landscape in India.
