We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist (MSP) for a 1-year contract position based in Hyderabad, India, with a high possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site Tier 1 support, triaging technical issues, and escalating problems as necessary. You will handle basic PC and Mac troubleshooting, end-user hardware and software support, and manage devices across Windows, Apple OS X, Chrome OS, iOS, and Android platforms. Experience in the VFX, animation, or games industry is highly preferred, as you will be working in a dynamic studio environment.
In addition to troubleshooting, you will manage monitor and accessory deployments, image and provision laptops, and maintain accurate inventory counts for all IT assets. Collaboration is key, as you will work with workplace coordinators and logistic vendors to deliver a seamless user experience. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Jamf, and Intune is required, along with excellent communication skills for face-to-face support and Slack-based interactions. Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience with Windows operating systems.
At least 3 years of experience in hardware and software break-fix troubleshooting.
Proficiency in both Windows and Mac OS environments for at least 3 years.
A minimum of 2 years of professional Help Desk experience.
Previous experience working in the VFX, animation, or gaming industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Google Suite, including Google Meet and Google Slides.
Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Jamf and Microsoft Intune.
Ability to perform laptop imaging and provisioning tasks efficiently.
Proven experience in face-to-face end-user support and technical problem-solving.
Experience in inventory management for computers, peripherals, and IT accessories.
