LEAD CONSULTANT – GIS ARCHITECT @ AMERITEK GLOBAL
Ameritek Global is looking for a Lead Consultant - GIS Architect to join our team for a project with Infosys based onsite in New York. This role is a hands-on architectural position where you will lead enterprise GIS implementations specifically for Electric and Gas Utilities across North America. The candidate will be responsible for driving technical strategy, functional design, and deployment activities while managing spatial data and documentation. The role requires a candidate who is ready for immediate interview and can provide verification for Green Card or US Citizen status prior to submission. The compensation for this role is set at $80 per hour on a C2C basis. Candidates must be willing to work onsite in New York and travel to various client locations as required by project needs. The position involves working with legacy-to-modern Esri migrations and modern enterprise deployment patterns. Key Requirements
Minimum of 12 to 14 years of total IT experience in a professional environment.
At least 8 years of specialized experience focused on GIS solutions and architecture.
Deep expertise in Esri platforms including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcMap.
Proven experience with Utility Network (UN) and ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (APR) data models.
Hands-on experience with Field Maps, Survey123, Geocortex, and utility-focused extensions.
Strong background in North American utility workflows including asset management and network operations.
Experience leading at least 1-2 full-cycle GIS implementations from functional design to deployment.
Proficient in Python scripting, web services, and spatial data management.
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills for client-facing engagements.
Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen with valid work authorization proof.
Willingness to work onsite in New York and travel to client sites as necessary.
Familiarity with GIS product architecture and enterprise deployment patterns.
