SENIOR TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER – ELK / MONITORING INFRASTRUCTURE @ ALIQAN
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technology Engineer specializing in ELK and Monitoring Infrastructure for an onsite position in Dubai. The successful candidate will take charge of day-to-day operations, ensuring the stability and continuous enhancement of enterprise-scale monitoring systems. This role is a one-year extendable contract, offering a significant opportunity to contribute to a high-performance IT environment utilizing cutting-edge monitoring tools and methodologies.
The position requires a deep technical understanding of infrastructure health, focusing on the configuration and management of Icinga, Nagios, and Grafana. You will also be responsible for managing ELK stack components and troubleshooting complex issues across both Linux and Windows platforms. Candidates should be proficient in scripting and database management, with a strong focus on maintaining high availability clusters to ensure 24/7 system visibility.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in monitoring and infrastructure engineering.
Strong hands-on expertise with Icinga 2, Nagios, and Grafana monitoring tools.
Good understanding and experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
In-depth knowledge of monitoring protocols including JMX, SNMP, Syslog, and HTTP.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining Linux and Windows server environments.
Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and file handling.
Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Direct experience in maintaining and optimizing High Availability (HA) clusters.
Ability to manage day-to-day operations and infrastructure stability effectively.
Preference for candidates available to start immediately or on short notice.
Strong analytical skills for system performance monitoring and log analysis.
