PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER @ AIRSWIFT
Airswift is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Process Safety Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting one of our major clients in the energy sector, ensuring that all processes are designed and operated with the highest safety standards. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent industrial accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
Extensive professional experience in process safety or technical risk engineering.
In-depth understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and frameworks.
Demonstrated proficiency in leading or participating in PHA, HAZOP, and SIL studies.
Strong familiarity with industry codes and standards such as API, NFPA, and OSHA.
Experience using consequence modeling software like PHAST or FLACS.
Ability to interpret complex P&IDs, PFDs, and other technical engineering documentation.
Excellent communication skills to present safety findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Previous experience working within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
