Agarwal Power Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Purchase Head at their Bhopal location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement department, focusing on strategic sourcing and the acquisition of essential materials for major infrastructure projects including HT/LT lines, substations, and railway developments. This leadership role requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen to ensure project timelines and budget targets are met efficiently.
Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and conducting thorough technical evaluations of products and services. The Purchase Head will work closely with the engineering and project management teams to understand technical specifications and ensure that the supply chain is robust and responsive. We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex procurement challenges within the power sector. Salary is negotiable based on experience and competency.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
MBA qualification is highly preferred for this leadership role.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in purchasing.
Extensive experience working with HT/LT Lines and Substations.
Knowledge of Feeders and technical survey work processes.
Prior experience handling procurement for Railway projects.
Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to manage vendors.
Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and budgeting.
Ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple departments.
