FACTORY MANAGER @ AFRICAB
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Factory Manager to take the helm of operations at our prominent cable manufacturing unit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This crucial leadership role requires an individual with 7 to 12 years of dedicated experience in the cable industry, ready to drive efficiency, quality, and productivity across the entire factory floor.
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of factory operations, ensuring that the unit achieves high production volume and maintains stringent quality standards. This includes meticulous management of production flow, resource allocation, and ensuring optimal process control to maintain cost-effectiveness. A key focus will be on the proactive management of workforce performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and boosting overall operational output.

Key Requirements
Oversee complete factory operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Achieve high production volume and stringent quality targets.
Manage, train, and motivate the factory workforce to improve overall productivity.
Implement and monitor regular machinery maintenance schedules (preventative and reactive).
Ensure strict compliance with all factory safety regulations and standards.
Optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles to control costs and reduce waste.
Possess 7–12 years of proven, strong experience specifically within cable manufacturing.
Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Possess sound knowledge of modern production planning methodologies and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
