Aerogulf is seeking a highly experienced Quality Engineer cum Auditor to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This critical role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality assurance standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our GCAA-approved organization. The successful candidate will conduct rigorous compliance audits across various frameworks, including CAR-M, CAR-145, EASA Part 145, and FAA Part 145, managing the entire audit closure process efficiently. A core function of this position involves evaluating and updating company manuals, procedures, and internal processes to guarantee alignment with all relevant regulatory requirements. The role also involves assisting the Quality Manager in the strategic development and implementation of policies necessary for an effective Quality System.
Furthermore, the Quality Engineer cum Auditor will play a vital role in technical training. This includes evaluating organizational training needs, developing comprehensive training materials, and administering specialized training programs to staff. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes within the aviation industry and supporting their subsequent implementation across the organization. Additional duties include assisting in staff authorization control, supporting investigations into technical matters, coordinating and assisting with Management Review meetings and follow-up actions, and supporting the preparation and submission of essential regulatory documents and data. The applicant must be prepared to perform all other functions assigned by the Quality Department to maintain operational excellence.
Key Requirements
Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent, ICAO Type-II AME License, or a Science Degree with 15 years relevant experience.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Monitoring / Continuing Airworthiness / Aircraft Maintenance.
At least 5 years experience specifically in Quality Monitoring and Auditing.
Must possess comprehensive Aviation Audit Training certification.
Excellent command of the English language and proficient computer skills.
Strong knowledge and/or training on CAR-M, CAR-145, EASA Part 145, and FAA Part 145 regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in manual, procedure, and technical report writing.
Proven ability to conduct investigations and detailed root cause analysis.
Qualified trainer status is highly desirable for administering training programs.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex international aviation regulations.
Strong organizational, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
