AE Talents Group is seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer to support a critical contract management and compliance application within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role is a hybrid position based in Austin, Texas, requiring onsite presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote flexibility on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated automated test scripts while also performing manual testing as needed to ensure complete coverage. The project duration is initially set for 3+ months and requires a professional with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive test scenarios, execution plans, and documentation to maintain high standards of software quality. You will track defects and testing activities using Jira, maintain traceability matrices, and provide essential support across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments. Additionally, the role involves leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and providing on-call support when necessary. Candidates must be US Citizens and local to the Texas area to be considered for this high-impact opportunity. Key Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in both QA Automation and Manual Testing.
Must be a US Citizen (USC Only) to meet specific contract eligibility requirements.
Must be a local candidate residing in or near Austin, Texas.
Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
Extensive experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Proficiency in using Jira, XRay, or Zephyr for defect tracking and test management.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright or WebdriverIO.
Ability to develop detailed test scenarios, execution plans, and technical documentation.
Solid understanding of JavaScript and HTML for script creation and troubleshooting.
Experience maintaining traceability matrices and reporting testing progress to stakeholders.
Ability to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts and provide on-call support.
