ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - (AVEVA AND SPEL) @ ADECCO
The Electrical Design Engineer role focuses on providing high-quality design solutions within the power industry, specifically utilizing specialized tools such as AVEVA and SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL). The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical activities, including electrical system design, cable list management, and the preparation of detailed engineering deliverables. This position is based in Gurgaon and requires a candidate with a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive practical experience in power plant projects.
Key responsibilities involve carrying out design tasks, specifying materials, and ensuring that all technical documentation, such as material requisitions and specifications, meets rigorous industry standards. The engineer will also be tasked with inter-disciplinary coordination to ensure seamless project execution across various engineering departments. Additionally, the role involves the critical task of reviewing, checking, and approving redline and as-built documents to maintain accuracy throughout the project lifecycle and ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Requirements
Must possess a BE or B Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 5 to 9 years of professional experience in electrical design.
Proven proficiency in using AVEVA Electrical for design activities.
Expertise in SmartPlant Electrical (SPEL) for system design and cable modules.
Capability to prepare design deliverables including cable sizing and load lists.
Experience in generating cable lists and cable termination diagrams.
Ability to specify materials and systems for large-scale power projects.
Skilled in preparing material requisitions and Material Take-Offs (MTOs).
Strong ability to coordinate and exchange information with other engineering disciplines.
Proficiency in checking and approving redline and as-built documentation.
