BIM SUPPORT SPECIALIST – ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION @ ACTALENT SERVICES
This position is for a BIM Support Specialist specializing in electrical construction within the Martinez area. The role involves joining a dynamic commercial electrical construction team to support BIM and VDC efforts across a variety of complex projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical models meet industry standards while facilitating efficient workflows for the project team.
In this role, you will focus on creating and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and families. You will be expected to lead or support coordination meetings and handle clash resolution to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other trades. Key Requirements
Extensive Electrical BIM experience specifically in commercial construction.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for electrical modeling.
Strong skills in AutoCAD for technical drawing and detailing.
Expertise in Navisworks for model aggregation and clash detection.
Proven experience creating and maintaining BIM standards and workflows.
Ability to build and manage Revit families and project templates.
Experience leading or supporting coordination meetings with multiple trades.
Familiarity with Dynamo, C#, or Visual Studio for BIM automation.
Background working with electrical contractors or MEP engineering firms.
Knowledge of prefabrication modeling and modular construction techniques.
