BIM MODELER / COORDINATOR – ELECTRICAL (MULTIFAMILY) @ ACTALENT SERVICES
We are seeking a BIM Modeler and Coordinator specifically for electrical systems in multifamily and residential construction projects. Located in San Carlos, this role involves owning the modeling and coordination process from the initial design phase through to final installation. You will work closely with project managers and field teams to ensure technical accuracy and project efficiency throughout the building lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include creating detailed BIM models, performing clash detection at LOD 350+ levels, and generating accurate shop drawings. The successful candidate will leverage tools like Revit and Navisworks to coordinate complex electrical layouts within residential building environments. Key Requirements
Significant experience in Electrical BIM modeling and coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating site-specific electrical layouts.
Hands-on expertise in Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling and coordination.
Strong skills in Navisworks for clash detection and resolution.
Demonstrated background in multifamily or residential construction projects.
Experience producing high-detail shop drawings for field installation.
Expertise in performing clash detection at LOD 350+ standards.
Proficiency in using Bluebeam for document review and markups.
Excellent communication skills for coordination with field and PM teams.
Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and residential standards.
