SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER @ ACERRA CONSULTING
Acerra Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our technical team in Bethlehem, PA. This onsite position requires a professional with a minimum of 12 years of experience in complex networking environments, focusing on the configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco Routing, Switching, Firewalls, and Wireless infrastructure. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing critical network systems and ensuring robust connectivity across the enterprise.
In this role, you will be a subject matter expert for Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms, handling VPC, VXLAN, and VDCs. Your expertise will be vital in managing dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, as well as optimizing Data Center architectures through Leaf-Spine designs. Beyond infrastructure management, you will provide high-level L3 support, oversee disaster recovery failover procedures, and utilize advanced monitoring tools like SolarWinds and ThousandEyes to maintain peak network performance and capacity.

Key Requirements
At least 12 years of professional experience in network engineering and administration.
Proven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Routing and Switching hardware.
Extensive experience with Cisco Firewalls and Wireless controllers/access points.
Deep technical knowledge of Cisco ACI and Nexus 2/3/5/7/9K series switches.
Mastery of dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and iBGP/eBGP.
Hands-on experience with Data Center technologies such as Leaf-Spine, VXLAN, and VPC.
Proficiency with IPAM, DNS, and DHCP tools, specifically Infoblox.
Skilled in using monitoring tools like SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and Cisco Prime.
Experience managing load balancing solutions with F5 LTM/GTM.
Ability to perform Level 3 support and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) failover operations.
CCNP Routing and Switching certification or higher is strongly preferred.
