BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST G&A / JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER @ ACE TECHNOLOGIES
The Business Systems Analyst G&A / Junior Project Manager will play a dual role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementations. Primary responsibilities include defining business requirements, creating comprehensive test plans and scripts, and executing testing while maintaining requirement traceability. This individual will also align deliverables with SOX and GxP standards as needed, ensuring all work remains consistent with IT philosophy and principles, including integration patterns and vendor security assessments. Approximately 60 to 70% of the role involves traditional Business Systems Analyst delivery work. In addition to analysis, the candidate will dedicate 20 to 30% of their time to Project Management, overseeing small-to-mid-sized projects across G&A functions. This includes managing risk, scope, timelines, and communications for SaaS implementations or automation efforts. Candidates are expected to lead projects from initiation through stabilization using Agile, SDLC, or hybrid methodologies. The role also involves acting as a functional expert for SaaS solutions such as SAP, Coupa, Concur, and Workday to ensure seamless integration with finance and accounting systems.
Key Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Analyst.
Demonstrated ability in managing project lifecycles, timelines, and deliverables.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, or hybrid project management frameworks.
Experience with G&A SaaS systems like SAP, Coupa, Concur, or Workday.
Familiarity with SOX compliance and GxP rigor in a professional setting.
Proficiency in defining business requirements and maintaining traceability matrices.
Ability to create and execute testing plans, scripts, and issue resolution tracking.
Experience in managing risk, scope, and stakeholder communications for IT projects.
Background in Biotech, Pharma, or Life Sciences industry is highly preferred.
Skilled in functional support for accounting and finance-related systems.
