PROJECT LEAD/ PROJECT MANAGER @ ABACUS SERVICE
Abacus Service is seeking a highly experienced Project Lead or Project Manager for a hybrid contract role based in Austin, TX. This position is vital for supporting a Technical Project Manager on a high-priority data engineering project focused on an AI adoption program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional coordination, tracking deliverables, and supporting platform and data engineering initiatives. Key aspects of the role involve ensuring seamless alignment between business units, engineering teams, and AI stakeholders, while maintaining high standards of project governance.
The role requires a proactive leadership style with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Key Requirements
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and must be noted on the resume.
Minimum 10 years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
Minimum 10 years of experience leading data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives.
Minimum 10 years of proven ability to manage business intelligence, big data, and analytics projects in enterprise environments.
Minimum 10 years of experience supporting healthcare data initiatives with familiarity in FHIR, CCDA, and HL7.
Minimum 10 years of working knowledge of SQL and database technologies to support project planning and issue resolution.
Minimum 10 years of strong communication skills for translating complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
Minimum 10 years of proven leadership managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and complex project timelines.
Minimum 10 years of experience defining project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
Minimum 10 years of proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
Minimum 10 years of experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and financial status reporting.
