We are seeking an accomplished Salesforce Technical Lead with exceptional expertise in the Healthcare Cloud domain. This is a crucial C2C contract opportunity for a client like Genentech, requiring the candidate to be highly hands-on with development. The role mandates proficiency in Apex coding, complex SOQL queries, and custom solution development to meet stringent healthcare industry standards. The position is hybrid, requiring presence at the Bay Area office location for at least two days per week. Preferred visa statuses include H1B and H4 EAD; however, GC and USC candidates must be engaged on our W2.
The ideal candidate must possess 10+ years of overall Salesforce experience, with significant tenure leading technical teams. Responsibilities include architectural design, ensuring optimization against governor limits, and implementing secure data sharing models compliant with HIPAA regulations. Experience integrating external healthcare systems using standards like FHIR, HL7, EHR, and EMR is highly preferred. A strong background utilizing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and version control systems (Git) is essential for successful project delivery.
Key Requirements
10+ years of Salesforce experience with 5+ years as a Technical Lead
Strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud
Expert-level Apex development, including triggers, async Apex, and governor limit optimization
Advanced experience writing SOQL queries and handling large data volumes
Hands-on experience with LWC, Visualforce (as needed), and Salesforce flows
Experience integrating healthcare systems (FHIR, HL7, EHR/EMR preferred)
Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, data sharing, and compliance (HIPAA)
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and source control (Git)
Must be able to work on-site at the client office in Bay Area at least 2 days a week (Hybrid role)
Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills necessary for guiding technical teams
Candidates on GC or USC must operate on a W2 basis for this contract engagement
